Request a Fan Table

Fan Tables are available at no charge for organizations of a particular fandom, bands, charities, or local businesses.  All groups must apply and be pre-approved to receive a fan table at the convention.  Fan Tables will be located on our Second Level Breakout Area within the Convention Center just outside the Film Festival, Creators, Track and more. 

Please see below for rules and guidelines of Fan Tables before applying:

• Tables must be staffed ALL 3 days.
• Anyone working at your table must have paid admission to Spooky Empire and is required to have a wristband or badge on at all times. Anyone caught manning your fan table without a wristband or badge will be asked to purchase admission. If we catch you again without a wristband or badge after your first warning, you will be asked to leave. Any one caught sharing a wristband or badge will also be asked to leave and your fan table privilege will be taken away. Admission can be purchase HERE
• If you need to step away from your table, it is your responsibility to have another designated person to watch your belongings.
• You must pack up anything of value at your table each night. Spooky Empire is not responsible for displays, merchandise, or other items left at tables during closed hours. Any items left are at own risk.
• No general merchandise sales are permitted at your fan table. You may sell items imprinted with your organization’s name or logo only, such as pins, t-shirts, or bookmarks.
• No raffles or other games of chance are allowed.
• If you need electric at your table, please notify us in advance. A power strip can be ordered through the convention center for a fee.
• Fan tables are typically 6 feet in length and will have two chairs per table. Extra chairs are sometimes obtainable from the hotel. They also usually have table cloths.
• You may utilize the space behind your table in whatever way you see fit, so long as no fire or safety hazards are created. Anything that extends into a walkway is considered a safety hazard.
• Nothing may be attached, in any way, to the walls, furniture, artwork, etc. Any publicly displayed items must be suitable for all audiences; in other words, it must be child friendly.
• Table placement will be at the sole discretion of Spooky Empire. We will work with you as much as possible, but we can make no promises.

BANDS:

• Only official band merchandise may be sold at your table.
• If you need electric at your table, please notify us in advance. A power strip can be ordered through the convention center for a fee.
• Playing samples of your band’s music is allowed at your table; however, there are limits on volume. We understand that the convention gets louder at times, but in order to prevent escalation in volume between tables, if a volunteer asks you to turn your music down, you will be expected to do so. Failure to comply with this may result in losing the privilege to play your music or in the forfeiture of your table.
