Welcome to Florida's Largest Horror Convention, brought to you by your groovy ghoulie friends at Spooky Empire. We are going into our sixth year and celebrating with our largest show to date. Last years show was monsterous, it was our most successful show so far with close to 11,000 fans in attendance. As you know the show gets bigger and bigger every year, and this year is no exception. Wait and see what we have in store for 2008!
This years location is once again at The Wyndham Resort in Orlando, FL.
The place is sure to be filled with some of the biggest Celebrities in horror, the best Horror Writers and Artists! There will be unique seminars, live music throughout the weekend, some of the best tattoo artists in the U.S., Independent Filmmakers and their films, a larger Dealer Room than ever before, SpecialFX Artists, classic movies, and many other surprises to be announced. We're also adding a gaming room with over 30 flat screen televisions and game consoles. Once again to kick off the weekend, we will open the convention with our 2nd Annual Spooky Empire Zombie Walk.
The doors will open Friday night, the 17th at 5pm. Saturday morning, the 18th, doors will open at 11am. The con will run all through the night until Sunday morning when doors open again at 11am. Schedule of events to be announced at a later date.
The Wyndham will have special room rates for us. $99.00/night when you mention Screamfest. Rooms are limited, so make your reservations early!
You don't want to miss the event of the year, see you there!!

SHOW IS DEDICATED TO GIDGET GEIN

This is something I would never want to write. Gidget Gein (Bradley Stewart) died yesterday, October 9th.
You may know him as the original bass player from Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids.
He was more recently known for his pop art, and his band the DaliGaggers.
He was one of our first guests at the first Screamfest!
He was a very good friend of mine, and he influenced me a lot.
I will definitely miss him!
Petey
