I’m a St. Patty’s Day baby, born on March 17th in Lincoln, Nebraska. In the 1980s I lived in NYC and began a career as a freelance writer, with articles and stories appearing in SCREW, Penthouse Forum, STOP!, Roadkill!, Psychotronic Video Magazine, OFF BEAT from New Orleans, HUSTLER, CHIC, OUI and numerous other men’s publications. I am currently launching a video version of my SPARE PARTS column on YouTube with help from Mike T. Lyddon. I currently live in Glenwood, Arkansas deep in the woods with my dogs, Bobbie, George and Ringo, and my cat, Blanche, who keeps the pups in line.
Douglas Ford is the author of Beasts of Vissaria County, a novel that appeared in 2021 from D&T Publishing, as well as Ape in the Ring, a short story collection, and The Reattachment, both from Madness Heart Press. His short fiction has appeared in several magazines, anthologies, and podcasts, including The Half You See, Tales to Terrify, and Dark Moon Digest, along with the third and fourth volumes of The Year’s Best Hardcore Horror. He lives on the west coast of Florida, just off an exit made famous by a Jack Ketchum short story.
Guy Hutchinson is an author, theme park historian and comedian. In addition co-hosting the podcast Drunk On Disney with Dana Snyder, Guy is also the co-host of the ‘Adventure Club’ and ‘Flux Capaci-cast’ podcasts. His books include Sesame Place: Images of Modern America, Bibbity Boozity Book a Disney cocktail guide, and Ghost Memoirs: Disney After Death.
Jackie Sonnenberg lives in Orlando where she has made a name for herself in the Horror community as both a writer and actor. Jackie took her love of creating original costumes with original characters through haunting and incorporated it as a creative and interactive way to market her books: By attending conventions and events in character to promote her books. Jackie has created a small following in the convention community and has been a guest at many local conventions as well as events in Tampa, St. Petersburg, and St. Augustine. She has been a nominee for “Best Local Author” for Orlando Weekly’s “Best of Orlando” feature two years in a row. Jackie’s current book collection SEMYHR YRESRUN is standalone Horror novels inspired by Nursery Rhymes… with new horrifying twists. The newest title (2020) is the vampire novel THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED.
James S. Murray is a writer, executive producer, and actor, best known as “Murr” on the hit television show Impractical Jokers on truTV. He is also one of the stars of the TV show The Misery Index on TBS along with his comedy troupe, The Tenderloins. He is the author of the international bestselling novels Awakened and The Brink.
After touring the world for over twenty years with KISS, Alice Cooper, Stone Temple Pilots, The Bangles, Rainbow, Debbie Gibson, Air Supply and many other music artists, Ken Barr made a life change and left the road. Now he is an award winning Indie Filmmaker and Author of books that have sold around the world.
Mark Muncy is an author of horror and science-fiction. He has spent more than three decades collecting ghostly tales and reports of legendary beasts. His third book for The History Press, Creepy Florida, released in fall 2019 following up his best-selling books Eerie Florida and Freaky Florida. He is a frequent guest on Coast to Coast AM and Into the Fray Radio. He is a commentator on numerous shows including Expedition X, Sasquatch Chronicles, Road Trips with Ripley’s and many more TV and radio shows. He lives in St. Petersburg, Florida, on the remains of an ancient shell midden.
Mike T. Lyddon is an award winning indie genre filmmaker (Witch Tales, First Man on Mars, Zombie! Vs. Mardi Gras). His latest film is a documentary called HAUNTED THRILLS about pre-code horror comic books of the 1950s. He’s been writing short stories for a few years and has recently sold his 8th story along with a few illustrations to the August Lovecraft edition of Cosmic Horror Monthly. Lyddon has also written non-fiction genre articles for Monster! magazine. He currently resides in north Florida a few miles from the “Black Lagoon.”
Owl Goingback is the author of numerous novels, children’s books, screenplays, magazine articles, short stories, and comics. He is a three-time Bram Stoker Award Winner, receiving the award for Lifetime Achievement, Novel, and First Novel. *The Stoker Award is the highest honor a writer can achieve in the horror genre. He is also a Nebula Award Nominee, and a Storytelling World Awards Honor Recipient. His books include Crota, Darker Than Night, Evil Whispers, Breed, Shaman Moon, Coyote Rage, Tribal Screams, Eagle Feathers, and The Gift. In addition to writing under his own name, Owl has ghostwritten several books for Hollywood celebrities.
An award winning producer and writer, Tim Anderson is currently the Programming Coordinator for the Enzian Theater and the Florida Film Festival. Anderson spent the previous 20+ years writing about film and television for Film Threat, Amazon.com, Fangoria, Severed Cinema, The Hacker’s Source and for 8 years as the DVD Managing Editor of Bloody-Disgusting.com and as co-host of “News from the Crypt” the official Bloody-Disgusting Podcast.
Valerie Willis is the Chief Operating Officer at 4 Horsemen Publications, Inc., an expert digital typesetter, and an award-winning Fantasy Paranormal Romance author. Her works include a workbook series, Writer’s Bane, starting with Research and Formatting 101, and novels inspired by mythology, superstitions, legends, folklore, fairy tales and history such as in her The Cedric Series. Many have experienced her hosting workshops or being a guest speaker at events where she shares her expertise in publishing, novel writing, research for fiction, worldbuilding, character development, book design, reader immersion, foreshadowing, and more.
Zachary Beckler is an award-winning filmmaker and screenwriter. His films have screened at festivals around the world, including Fantastic Fest, Shriekfest, NYC Horror Film Festival, Florida Film Festival, Imagine: Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival and Dead By Dawn Scotland International Film Festival. His credits include the short films Séance, Where Is Alice?, and his feature debut, Interior. Zachary is currently teaches in the Department of Film and Mass Media at UCF.
A.D. (Alisha) Sams has worked with the Author/Creative Track for Spooky Empire’s Ultimate Horror Weekend for 9 years. She is definitely a writer of southern fiction, probably a writer of dark, twisty things, and maybe a writer who hasn’t quite decided where to hide the bodies. Alisha currently lives in Atlanta, GA and is forever working on the elusive “completed project”. She is the mastermind behind Blackbird House Studios, a collective frenzy of photography, illustration, graphic design, and publishing.
